RECAP:
This was the first week after the time change and it's getting dark very early and is making it tough to get my training in. Most of my training partners are also done for the season so aside from Watty showing for some sessions I'm on a solo mission. My main goal this week was still to get my calf back in action and I can't say that it's any worse but it's also not any better. It's just lingering on. I used spin class on Wednesday as my workout due to lack of light and got a massage again on Thursday. I did strides a couple of times for my run turnover but didn't want to push my calf too much. On Sunday we drove from Charlotte to Clearwater and were greeted by Clarke at the condo. The condo is really nice. Got in around 10pm and went to bed shortly after that.
I'm still not overly excited about the Clearwater race because I don't know how my calf is going to hold up. It's tough to set a strong goal for this race with that looming in the back of my mind.
