G-ma is 81 yrs old but certainly doesn't act like it.  The only thing that gives it away is that she walks like a tortoise.


It's always nice to hang out with my sister Sarah.  Kevin and the kids were holding down the fort back in WI.

Sarah and Grandma at the US National Whitewater Center.  It was a great day to be outside.

My sister Sarah and Great Grandma came down from Wisconsin to stay with us and meet Claire.  They stayed from Thursday through Monday and it was great to see both of them.  During that time they fed, held, diapered, and swaddled Claire quite a bit and got to know her quite well.  While they were here they also did the following:

* Walked every day and had strength & core workouts with Jen in the basement
* Sarah ran a 3K road race on Saturday morning
* Grandma got her picture taken with Elvis at the race
* Got to taste one of my world famous margaritas and my Oscar nominated guacamole on fajita night
* Spent Sunday afternoon at the US National Whitewater Center
* Got to meet a bunch of our friends and share some laughs with them
* Grandma and I debated about heated topics such as politics, religion, and global warming.  Debating with Grandma is like talking to a wall and she knows it!!
* Soaked up some rays in the nice weather

We all had a great time and we're looking forward to their next visit.........whenever that might be.
